Mother of actress Donna Damerel .Grandmother of writer/director Charles B. Griffith .She was a star on radio. She is best known today for playing in two of Roger Corman 's ultra-low-budget horror comedies, A Bucket of Blood (1959) and The Little Shop of Horrors (1960), both of which were written by her grandson, Charles B. Griffith .She was a vaudeville performer who moved to radio, and created the popular radio serial "The Story of Myrt and Marge" which ran in the 1930s-40s. She played Myrt and her daughter, Donna Damerel , played Marge.
